ENTRE LA FAMILIA Y EL SOFRITO

Image

Learning from every step as we open IN THE HEIGHTS at GALA THEATER

Language:   is the method of human communicati on, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way. For me language has become the character at question during the process of adapting and giving life to this production. Language… what a beautiful thing, it can unite us or separate us, open our souls and our humanity or close it with insecurities L anguage = Cultures and yet. There is another language that opens us up to a better state and furthers our possibilities, the language of art. No matter what language you speak   tonight   you will feel the universal language of dance, be touched by the music, and share the energy of each actor.  These special tools of art make us all better. Thank you for walking into our home to share and celebrate our language, our traditions, and our culture. In finding the right “slang” language for our GALA production, each and every actor has contributed to th...

Echoing the latest News Letter from R.Evolucion Latina

Thank you to everyone who supported this Journey... From those who traveled from their homes in Latin America, to those who took the TIME to travel on the subway to 59th street. We feel inspired because of you. We have shared so much and now we share your BOUNTIFUL words...      "Bountiful (A teacher's journey) is a celebration of culture, love of self, allowance of the convergence of differences, the acceptance of all who commit to the love of others, and the encouragement  for all to reach their goals in everything in life because it is at our potentials that we find the best of who we are, and the most beautiful us we can present. My description sounds long winded, but the show was all that, and a pure inspiration... It is a show that I need to see every day just to get through the next day feeling as wonderful as I did today." - Michael Blake (D irector Joffrey Jazz Program)   A Glimpse Into The Journey ...
