The Journey to Art With A Purpose

La vida se trata de extremos y balances para mi. La búsqueda de emociones y la conciencia de mi trabajo, de lo que me rodea, de mi arte y de mi propósito.  La primera semana fue MARAVILLOSA y HUMANA, mucho contacto con otros y la PASIÓN de HACER LO QUE AMAMOS Y VIVIR UNA AVENTURA JUNTOS… TODO ESTO ES MÁGICO Y PERFECTO, pero también reflexione internamente en que muchas veces, es eso que nos hace "LATINOS" en el ARTE y entonces esta semana…. Quiero explorar otro ángulo dentro del mismo ambiente maravilloso que me rodea… Más enfocado en la tarea y con un sentido de ARTE y VALOR DE VIDA, DE MI ALMA, asi di inicio a la segunda semana de TECH en el hermoso Oriental Theatre en CHICAGO. Buscando estar más consciente y ser quizás un poco menos "apasionado", "sensible", "vulnerable" y mantener mi mente más clara en el aspecto técnico profesional de lo que estoy haciendo , de lo que es mi tarea y de lo que me rodea y asi aprender MAS de...

Years have passed and many, many LATINO ARTISTS have both, been able to do or to DREAM about being in "IMPORTANT" positions on the Broadway scene, on the BIG commercial and ARTISTIC success of what we call the "Great White Way".   NOW here we are at last, a season where potential is endless and the doors seem to be able to open even wider than before. La semana pasada viví el primer día en el nuevo teatro  para ON YOUR FEET. Con este día, una nueva JORNADA de fantasías y aventuras dio inicio...  La expectativa de entrar a un nuevo hogar en un nuevo estado. El Oriental Theater en Chicago; es una belleza y la calidad de su gente se siente de inmediato. La muestra, LA APERTURA para el opening del show fue muy especial. El maravilloso y divertido director Jerry Mitchell, nos dio el regalo de verlo antes de iniciar NUESTRO TRABAJO y esto nos lleno de emoción. Me encantan los directores que son tan humanos como inteligentes; que inspiran y dan al proceso el respeto y regalan un sentido de pertenencia a todos. Esto me parece sano y productivo, más aún que aquellos que imponen todo y usan el efecto miedo o el efecto mini dios para lograr su objetivo. Jerry es alguien a emular en muchas de sus formas para con las relaciones de su equipo.
