In Rehearsal’s for Ella Es Colombia with Luis Salgado Ella es Colombia , a fantasy filled fable that is inspired by the soul of the Colombian people, music, literature and folklore will premiere on August 22, 2018 at the Cafam De Bellas Artes Theater. Under the Direction and Choreography of Broadway’s Luis Salgado. This new musical is produced by María Isabel Murillo ( aka Misi), who also serves as one of the composers. The show follows the love story of Aluna and Viento (the wind) celebrating Colombia's natural resources and potential inside it's flora and fauna, merging the work with Colombia’s cultural traditions, painters, writers and musicians. Estoy en un proceso hermoso...  una vez más, voy camino a una HISTORIA que me inspira; es el proyecto de la vida de Gloria y Emilio Estefan, en el cual me sumerjo a diario con un gran equipo creativo y con maravillosos compañeros del Arte. En eso, una experiencia muy reciente me persigue... las vidas que logramos tocar en Colombia, tanto en Cali, como en Bogotá.   Ha terminado otra aventura de ARTE CON PROPÓSITO en uno de los países LATINOAMERICANOS que me ha dado amor, respeto y abierto puertas. Un país donde recuerdo que todos somos uno...  SOMOS SERES HUMANOS Mágicos... Individuos llenos de posibilidades, de miedos, de sueños y más. A veces creo que mas que artista, soy HUMANISTA y que EL ARTE es la forma en que me hago uno con el todo; y así creo en DIOS, porque LO VEO EN LOS OJOS DE LOS QUE ME RODEAN, EN EL CIELO Y EN LA TIERRA como  lo vimos todos en un ejercicio de actuación y en la búsqueda de la verdad.  También he compartido de mi sangre, mi herencia y mi gente. My non-profit organization R.Evolución Latina concluded tonight the 2015 Beyond Workshop Series. It's been so rewarding seeing this students grow.  The BWS started February 23rd at The National Dance Institute for Learning & the Arts, and had its' first student sharing as part of the dance program on March 6th under the direction of Rickey Tripp and Gabriela García.  The second part of the program, started March 9th focused on Shakespeare and Voice and concluded tonight with a presentation of the students work.  Seeing them take the risks and go beyond in every artistic and human step is something that I can not really measure at the moment. I must wait a bit and see the result of the planted seeds in them.   The first 2 weeks of the program was focused on dance, ensemble building and expanding cultural exchange under the idea of Daring to Go Beyond.
