The Journey to Art With A Purpose

I have to admit that Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I am not sure how much of it has to do with the history that motivates it but, more so I think I am connected to the sense of Gratefulness that invades my surroundings during the week. It takes place once a year but, personally I am often in a deep state of gratitude. Each day brings the awareness that I am privileged to do what I love, thanks to many things, situations and the people that have supported me getting here. On this one day in November we get to collectively CELEBRATE and SHARE AS ONE the things we are more thankful for. This time of gratitude also provides the feeling of a new beginning, as we start concluding a year of growth and moving into a new horizon of dreams and potential. As I mentioned before it's not always easy to balance the acts between, performing, producing, creating and running 2 companies but it is possible. There is so much to celebrate and share as I have been quiet with the Blog but not as quiet with ACTION. Salgado Productions and me have been on it, from Rocky Broadway, to The Letterman Show, to reading 2 hand fulls of new possible Scripts, developing events, keeping an eye on the Tony Awards, Nurturing a baby that's on it's way (I MEAN THIS LITERALLY) Planning a show for Puerto Rico and more. 2014 has so far been a year of blessing and re-connecting with the wonderful city of NY and the incredible community of BROADWAY and I am hoping that the Blogs to come reflect that.
