Embarking on a Theatrical Journey: A Personal Odyssey Through London's Theatrical Wonderland

Image
As I sit, writing from the clouds, I can't help but feel a surge of inspiration coursing through me. Enveloped by the DayDreamer playlist on my British Airways flight, memories of my travels to some of the most enchanting places on Earth flood my mind. London, Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Thailand—each holds a special place in my heart, beckoning me back time and time again. Reflecting on my childhood, I recall the exhilaration of my first flight at the tender age of 9. Flying solo, I was treated to coconut ice cream by a kind flight attendant, a gesture that made me feel truly special. Those early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for travel and adventure, a passion I now share with my own son, who, at 9 years old, is discovering the joys of the arts and the challenges of staying true to oneself. But enough reminiscing—let's dive into the heart of the matter: London's vibrant theater scene. For me, London is more than just a destination; it's a haven for artistic...

On Your Feet reviews at TUTS & beyond!

Image
"This is a beautifully cast show full of authentic Latin performers. They have all had input into the choreography for this production, which  Luis Salgado  headed up. The director has amped up the dancing from the original Broadway version and made the final journey after Gloria’s accident far more spiritual and compelling. I got chills watching as each ensemble member became a fan writing a letter to  Gloria Estefan  for her to get better because it felt so honest to see these Latin performers paying tribute to who we routinely credit as the “Queen of Latin Pop.” The show itself is a love letter to Gloria, Emilio, and their fans. So Luis gets it, and this show is one of the best incarnations of ON YOUR FEET theater fans will ever get to see. The ensemble is perfection, and there was not one missed note or beat in the entire show."  - Brett Cullum " The heart of the story thumps to a toe-tapping rhythm under the spectacle director/choreographer Luis Salg...

We want to share with you one of the key programs that R.Evolución Latina offers—our  Dare 2 Go Beyond Performing Arts Summer Camp.  Do you know how much it costs per child to participate in a summer camp in New York City?  An estimated cost is  $850/week per child!!!  For the past 16 years we have consistently offered a week-long summer camp for thousands o f  kids   FREE  of charge . Typically, a camp of this kind, with highly talented professionals that teach dancing, singing, and acting, would cost an exorbitant amount. We are appreciative to have built relationships with incredible artists. We are proud to grant  tuition-free  admission to children of families that otherwise wouldn't have access to this camp experience. Watch a little bit of our Camp Experience this past July Quick facts & a  fun IG video from the...
