Wayfair’s Chair-Ades Pop-Up at Grand Central Station

In a one-day-only activation in the heart of Grand Central Terminal, Wayfair brought comfort, design, and delight to New Yorkers with a striking pop-up experience. Salgado Productions was proud to bring the event to life through dynamic staging, choreography, and immersive audience interaction. A select team of artists from Salgado Productions delivered engaging pop-up performances throughout the day—embodying the spirit of Chair-Ades through movement, character work, and storytelling that transformed simple seating into theatrical moments. Their work seamlessly blended physical comedy, pedestrian choreography, and bold expression, helping turn a public transit hub into an unexpected stage.
