What a fun process and what a challenge to guide so many people in so little time. I LOVE IT! I am nothing but grateful for the opportunity to explore, learn and grow with a group of 23 actors, 4 musician and  a creative team that I will be forever grateful for trusting and helping the vision of many dreamers. We get to collaborate and share the joy of giving life for the first time to the work of two young exciting writers. No matter what, ART for me is always spiritual. There is pleasure and pain that comes with it, and between the coffee and M&M's I survive each battle one day at a time. It's simply so thrilling to be surrounded by people who would simply die for the work. People who are not afraid to give it all and risk failing for the commitment to the project. It is so magical to question the material each morning in every single rehearsal and with the questions find the answers that give life to the relationship, the music and more. So far this has been my experience working as Director and General Manager with Salgado Productions for the new musical Song Of Solomon . The musical is a tragic, epic romance, based on the Biblical Song of Songs. Set in ancient Israel, we follow the secret romance between King Solomon and a brilliant young vineyard girl, Almah, who inspires the most famous love poetry of all time. The stakes are Solomon's life, the woman he loves
