Discovering what Daring To Go Beyond really means in the strength of Elizabeth Maria Walsh

Art saves lives, and also spirits and souls and teaches us all so much. I wish that each human being had a chance to explore some type of arts. I actually think that the world could simply be better if this was indeed possible and yet, it's the first thing to be taken away every time there needs to be a budget cut from school to school. SAD RIGHT? ... Meet the story of Elizabeth Maria Walsh , at least my experience with her... A WARRIOR OF THE LIGHT WITHOUT A DOUBT. A young girl who proved that DARING TO GO BEYOND IS MORE THAN A MOTTO, it is a way of life we can all choose. Never playing victim in the path life has granted us. She joked in her harder days "I guess GOD must think I am the strongest woman on the planet" when told that there wasn't any challenge that God allowed us to live that we can not handle. Directing, what is it really?   Drawing, painting and infusing stories through movement is my first impulse... However, is it just that or is there a lot more to it? Directing is a LABOR OF LOVE, something that guides me, and I will admit I LOVE DOING IT. The last 3 years I have merged myself in it everywhere I could here and internationally. Recently, I was fortunate enough to return to the Broadway stage to per

An honest process of discovery and RESPECT: The Making of Song of Solomon

It's simply so thrilling to be surrounded by people who would simply die for the work. People who are not afraid to give it all and risk failing for the commitment to the project. It is so magical to question the material each morning in every single rehearsal and with the questions find the answers that give life to the relationship, the music and more. So far this has been my experience working as Director and General Manager with Salgado Productions for the new musical Song Of Solomon . I will let the exclusive pictures by Victoria Medina do all the talking for me: SONG OF SOLOMON is a new musical created by Andrew Beall and Neil Van Leeuwen. The musical is a tragic, epic romance, based on the Biblical Song of Songs. Set in ancient Israel, we follow the secret romance between King Solomon and a brilliant young vineyard girl, Almah, who inspires the most famous love poetry of all time. The stakes are Solomon's life, the woman he loves
