On Sunday, April 27, R.Evolución Latina partnered with The Museum of Broadway to host a very special panel, A Buena Vista Social Club Celebration, honoring the incredible journey of Buena Vista Social Club from its Cuban roots to Broadway’s vibrant stage.

Moderated by Luis Salgado and Gabriela García, the panel featured talented members of the Broadway production: Angélica Beliard, Carlos E. González, Ilda Mason, Da’Von Moody, Leonardo Reyna, and co-producer Ioana Alfonso.

The event welcomed an audience who gathered to hear stories about the creative process, the cultural significance of the music, and the honor of representing Cuban heritage on Broadway.

“This experience has been transformative for me as an artist and as a human being," shared Leonardo Reyna. "Bringing the spirit of Buena Vista Social Club to Broadway reminds us all of the deep roots and resilience of our culture.”Angélica Beliard added, “It’s not just a show; it’s a celebration of heritage, identity, and pride. Every night we step on that stage, we are honoring those who paved the way before us.”

Guests enjoyed an intimate conversation, a photo opportunity with the artists, and the energy that defines Buena Vista Social Club. Special thanks to The Museum of Broadway for hosting this memorable celebration of music, storytelling, and cultural pride!
