BARBA  is a new Brazilian musical that explores the true story of Fernando Barba who discovers he has an extraordinary gift for creating music using his own body as an instrument. A music virtuoso, Barba transformed people’s lives, founding the Brazilian body percussion ensemble Barbatuques. His dedication to teaching this innovative, accessible form of body music is threatened when he is given a medical diagnosis that puts his mission in jeopardy. New Brazilian Musical  Barba  Sells Out All Performances; Standby Line Will Be Offered Before Curtain "N ew Brazilian musical  Barba  has sold out all performances for their run Off-Broadway at the Pregones Theater. The work exploring body percussion performance is set to play the Bronx venue through February 25. A standby line will be available 30 minutes prior to curtain for each performance. All tickets are priced at $20.
