Asking my self or A PRAYER TO ART! ...
Art, THEATRICAL ARTS, PERFORMING ARTS... ART... what is it? God, please help me understand or better yet… THANK YOU for letting me be LOST in the PASSION for IT! The most human moments of my life, - other than the birth of my son-, I have experienced with ART, because of Art, doing ART! Surrounded by a bunch of people, that sometime I know nothing about and choose to live under an IMAGINARY conflict that we get to explore, create and at times resolve in the journey of that “THING” we might be doing and that we call ART. ART, so many times has scared me, but so many more times it has liberated me. ART! … ARTS! ART! … Art triggers desires that push me to explore, it teaches me, it makes me want, it takes me to a spiritual orgasm, to a catharsis again and again and over again… what is this thing? COULD IT BE GOD? I already call the studio my church and the process of it my “religion” so what is it?… I have been saved by it more
