The Journey to Art With A Purpose

My friends, sometimes, Thank you is not enough but is all we have to give. 2014 has been a FANTASTIC year of ADVENTURES, GROWTH, Furthering of DREAMS and EVOLUTION OF LIFE! The greatest gift with out a doubt has been my son that was BORN during another amazing time, my 3rd Original Broadway Production. The rest is HEALTH, LOVE, HARD WORK and Family. LOTS OF FAMILY in this year and I am THANKFUL for reconnecting with all of them! To all of you who in SOMEWAY have been a part of the JOURNEY! GRACIAS! Cooper, a soldier on leave from Afghanistan, meets up with former childhood neighbor, Kate, at Zuccotti Park, where she is part of the Occupy Protests. He gets caught up in a scuffle between protesters and police, and ends up in jail with Kate. Cooper soon discovers that Kate has changed quite a bit since their Iowa days, and they disagree on almost everything. Throughout the play, we learn the back-stories of the protesters as well as the points of view of people who profit from the system. http://www.

I have to admit that Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I am not sure how much of it has to do with the history that motivates it but, more so I think I am connected to the sense of Gratefulness that invades my surroundings during the week. It takes place once a year but, personally I am often in a deep state of gratitude. Each day brings the awareness that I am privileged to do what I love, thanks to many things, situations and the people that have supported me getting here. On this one day in November we get to collectively CELEBRATE and SHARE AS ONE the things we are more thankful for. This time of gratitude also provides the feeling of a new beginning, as we start concluding a year of growth and moving into a new horizon of dreams and potential.
