On July 22nd Forbes put out a title that reads: Gloria And Emilio Estefan’s Broadway Musical ‘On Your Feet!’ Brings A New Level Of Diversity To The Road " After a nationwide tour of more than 70 cities,  On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan  will relaunch this fall with stops in new cities across the United States after two sit-down engagements. Directed and choreographed by Broadway veteran, Luis Salgado,  On Your Feet!  will play at Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine from   July 20 to August 19, 2023 and at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in La Mirada, California, from October 6 to 29, 2023. Salgado also starred in  On Your Feet!  during its Broadway run." "This version of  On Your Feet!  offers a fresh, new take with even more Latin flair. The exceptionally diverse cast and creative team hails from more than ten countries. Gaby Albo, who plays Gloria, is Mexican. Samuel Garnica (Emilio) is Venezuelan. Andrew Barth Feldman, 2018 Jimmy Award winner, introduced the Musicals Group number which featured a medley of songs from Broadway musicals inspired by Shakespeare directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado.   New York, NY – June 27, 2023 – The winners of the 14 th annual Jimmy Awards ® were determined and announced last night, June 26, 2023, in front of a sold-out audience at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. The coveted Jimmy Awards for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor were presented to Lauren A. Marchand , The Roger Rees Award (New York, NY) and Langston Lee , Heller Awards for Young Artists (Austin, TX). Both winners were each presented with a check for the amount of $25,000 to further their education.
