Prepping for Latin America Meets Broadway Event

As I prep for Latin America Meets Broadway Exporting, Importing and Co-Producing Musicals & Plays, I learn so much about the wonderful group of panelists that  I cannot wait to share it with you all! The event is almost full and the amazing Bianca Marroquin joins our panel to complete the list. I am super excited to have such a FANTASTIC group of people on board and this informative discussion in collaboration with the great people at United States - Mexico Chamber of Commerce. Want to make ART WITH A PURPOSE? Applications are now available online for the Salgado Productions 2014 Musical Theatre Intensive held in NYC. Our 2-week intensive workshop, students will be immersed in the process of making  Art With A Purpose . This program is for performers, from beginners to professionals looking for a deeper process in their musical theatre approach. Classes will be led by Luis Salgado  and a group of handpicked artists to provide participants with well-rounded training. Luis is currently performing in ROCKYBroadway , past Broadway shows include Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown  and In The Heights . Participants will take a variety of classes in the disciplines of acting, voice, and dancing. All classes use principles of Suzuki, Viewpoints, Meisner and more with a focus on ensemble work and character development. All classes are very physical and demand 100% dedication to individual growth as a performer and a commitment to

As I mentioned before it's not always easy to balance the acts between, performing, producing, creating and running 2 companies but it is possible. There is so much to celebrate and share as I have been quiet with the Blog but not as quiet with ACTION. Salgado Productions and me have been on it, from Rocky Broadway, to The Letterman Show, to reading 2 hand fulls of new possible Scripts, developing events, keeping an eye on the Tony Awards, Nurturing a baby that's on it's way (I MEAN THIS LITERALLY) Planning a show for Puerto Rico and more. 2014 has so far been a year of blessing and re-connecting with the wonderful city of NY and the incredible community of BROADWAY and I am hoping that the Blogs to come reflect that. On May 12, 2014 the great Ken Davenport mentioned on his blog the producers perspective our next event on Salgado Productions . How exciting is that.
