The ceremony will also celebrate the vibrant New York City theater community, recognizing the many companies and artists that have excelled during the 2024–2025 season.


This year’s theater nominations include distinguished institutions such as IATI Theater, Pregones/PRTT, Repertorio Español, Teatro Círculo, and The People’s Theatre, among others.


Guided by creative direction from acclaimed international director and choreographer Luis Salgado, and hosted by Broadway star Bianca Marroquín (Chicago) and Emmy Award–winning NY1 journalist Frank DiLella, the Gala promises to be a night of artistry, recognition, and celebration like no other.


The celebration will feature live music from Manteca Blue, led by acclaimed musician Daniel Gutiérrez, setting the rhythm from the welcome reception through the afterparty and keeping the energy vibrant all night long. Special featured artists Florencia Cuenca(Real Women Have Curves – The Musical) and Jaime Lozano(Frida, The Musical) will also join the Gala, bringing their celebrated artistry to an unforgettable performance.


We would be honored to have you join us for this historic event as we celebrate five decades of fostering, promoting, and celebrating Hispanic talent in the performing arts.

Event Schedule:

  • 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Welcome Reception
    Begin the evening with an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and red carpet/step-and-repeat photo opportunities. A festive start to 
    the Gala. 


  • 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM | HOLA Awards Ceremony & Seated Dinner
    Enjoy dinner service and an inspiring program as we honor 
    Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ariana DeBose, and other extraordinary 
    artists in Latin theater, film, television, and beyond.


  • 10:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Afterparty
    Close the night in style with live music by Manteca Blue, dancing, cocktails, and vibrant networking with honorees, artists, and 
    special guests.

Journey Through London: 21 Shows in 10 Days

This is for sure A Theatre Lover’s Journey  Over the past 10 days, I had the opportunity to see 21 shows in London—an experience that has left me utterly inspired and reaffirmed my passion for theatre. I still can't quite believe I managed to catch so many performances in such a short time! This reminds me of my time at the  Festival de Otoño  in Spain, where I also had a similar immersive art experience, or my time in Oregon recently. There's something about these moments that allow me to recharge, creatively and spiritually. As I reflect on this whirlwind theatre adventure, I can't help but chuckle at how many people ask me, "Why so many shows?"
